How to install WordPress

How to install WordPress

You can install WordPress in a few clicks from cPanel.

Option 1: WordPress Toolkit (recommended)

  1. In cPanel, open WordPress Management (WP Toolkit) in the Domains section.
  2. Click Install.
  3. Choose the domain and, if needed, a sub-folder. Leave the folder blank to install at the root of the domain.
  4. Enter a site title, admin username, a strong password and your email address.
  5. Click Install.

WP Toolkit also lets you update, clone, back up and secure your WordPress sites from one screen.

Option 2: Softaculous

If shown in your cPanel, open Softaculous Apps Installer in the Software section, choose WordPress and click Install Now. The details requested are the same.
