How to create a mailing list in cPanel
Mailing lists let you send one email to a group of subscribers using a single address, such as team@yourdomain.co.uk.
- Log in to cPanel and open Mailing Lists in the Email section.
- Enter a List Name and choose the domain.
- Set an administrator password.
- Choose the access type:
- Public – anyone can subscribe and view archives
- Private – subscriptions need approval and archives are restricted
- Click Add Mailing List.
- Click Manage beside the list to add members and adjust settings.
Mailing lists are best for small groups such as teams or committees. For marketing newsletters to large audiences, use a dedicated email marketing service; bulk sending from shared hosting can be blocked as spam and is limited by our sending policy.
