How to enable and manage AccelerateWP

AccelerateWP speeds up WordPress sites with caching and optimisation, built into your hosting.

  1. In cPanel, open AccelerateWP in the Software section.
  2. Find your WordPress site in the list.
  3. Click the settings icon beside AccelerateWP and switch it on.

This enables page caching, minification of CSS and JavaScript, and delayed loading of scripts.

Premium features

If available on your plan, AccelerateWP Premium adds features such as critical path CSS, removal of unused CSS and image optimisation, along with an object cache for database-heavy sites like WooCommerce.

Things to know

  • Don't run AccelerateWP alongside another full-page caching plugin (such as LiteSpeed Cache or WP Rocket); choose one.
  • If something looks broken after enabling it, clear the cache and test with minification turned off.
